Weight is essential for the construction of truck bodies. At the same time, stability and weather resistance are most important. Novelis supplies continuous high quality surface finishes as double-coated stripes which can be easily printed or primered / pre-treated surfaces, ready to paint with almost all commercially available paints. Time consuming and expensive pre-treatment such as cleaning, polishing, filling etc. are a thing of the past. Widths up to 2100 mm and gauges up to 3 mm lead to a wide product range of pre-painted transport products.

Insulated vehicles

Novelis pre-painted aluminium is used with a special non-abrasive and scratch-proof coating for insulated vehicles of food transportation. The primer coating guaratees an optimum bonding of metal and insulating foam.
