That’s because the aluminium sheeting comes pre-painted in many different colours. You not only avoid the cost of coating the sheet, but also the problems connected with air and water emissions and the risk of fire.
Signicolor is coil-coated, which means that the use of chemicals and pigments is kept to a minimum. This is down to special pre-treatment and application by rollers, as well as the fact that the solvents siphoned off during enamelling of the coating are thermally recycled and used to heat subsequent steps of the process. Emissions are kept to a minimum.
