Testing processes for highest quality

For the commitment to highest quality Novelis pre-painted aluminium has to pass strict quality tests regarding corrosion, humidity, chemical and UV resistance.

Regarding weathering resistance accelerated exposure tests are proceed:

• Resistance to salt spray fog (acetic acid salt spray test) – ESS DIN50021 / ECCA T8
• Resistance to accelerated weathering using UV lamps – ECCA T10 / DIN 53384-A / ISO 4628
