Abrasion resistance

• The Abrasion resistance of the SP80 coating is tested with a Taber abrasive test instrument according to ECCA T16 / DIN 53754 / DIN 53799.

Adhesion

• Adhesion after intendation cupping acc. to ECCA T6

Resistance

• Resistance to cracking on bending (T-bend-test) acc. to ECCA T7

Weathering resistance

Accelerated exposure tests

• Resistance to salt spray fog (acetic acid salt spray test) – ESS DIN50021 / ECCA T8
• Water immersion resistance – ECCA T9 / ISO 1521
• Resistance to accelerated weathering using UV lamps – ECCA T10 / DIN 53384-A / ISO 4628

Resistance to weathering

• The impact of different climate environments (marine climate, industrial climate, high sunshine levels) on the painted surface is tested through years to enable the most efficient coatings to be developed.
