Superbright is the brand that identifies Novelis pre-painted aluminium characterised by the bright surface of metal support. This product is particularly used to produce false ceilings in modular panels and stripes and highly appreciated for its reflective properties. A transparent lacquer grants the full protection of the product and highlights the aesthetical characteristics of the false ceilings. A special product, for special projects.

Front Side

Coils and sheets are degreased and chromium-free chemically converted on both sides before coating. Product front side is prepainted with a polyester paint. On customer request other liquid paint systems are available: polyamide, polyurethane, PVdF (polyvinylidenfluoride).

Reverse Side

On customer request the reverse side is protected by a backing coat polyester (semi transparent) suitable for adhesive bonding with most available glues and foams.

Colour Tolerances

Measures on colour (ΔE values, CIELAB¹ system) is referred to Novelis master colour. This method can’t be used for transparent and metallic colours, special effects and for embossed surfaces.

Protective film

The protective film (transparent or Black & White) is applied to the coated aluminium coils and sheets especially used in the production of façades. The protective film must be removed at the latest 6 (six) months after delivery and is for external application (UV resistant).
