The international award gives a prize to the best project carried out with Aluminium.
Up to 26th March 2010 it is possible to participate to the international award “Aluminium/Innovation/Sustainability” promoted by the Building Environment Science and Technology Department (BEST) of Politecnico of Milan and by Novelis Italia Spa. It is intended for the best architectural projects characterized by the innovative use of rolled aluminium (systems for building industry, technological solutions, treatments and finishings).
Come to its second edition, the Award takes his rightful place inside the profitable co-operation between the Politecnico of Milan and Novelis for the promotion of research and comparison on the technological innovation and particularly on the employment of rolled aluminium in architecture.
Due to their features of lightness and workability, the aluminium rolled products perfectly comply with the new technologies applicatory of the architecture and the design (interior design and lighting design). Such products are kept in growing consideration by the designers just for the possibilities they offer to test languages quite new and environmental protective.
